Terrorism: In the name of Islam?
November 10, 07 – 5:53 pmTerrorism is one of the major headlines gripping the world’s headlines. Where information is distorted and misinterpreted across the world, I see a need for there to be clarification of the issue. Terrorism as shown by the media is committing acts of terror which is basically killing on a mass scale without, I would say, direct and specific targeting of a person.
Islamic terrorism is when people who say they are Muslims commit acts of terror. But is this Islamic terrorism, or is Islam the veil behind which these people are hiding and shooting out deadly and violent attacks. Just something to think about, is it really Islam or as I see it people using Islam as an excuse?
